Refund policy

We accept refunds and exchanges. Please check your shipment immediately upon receipt.

Should there be any error on items or quantity received or defect caused by shipping and handling, please notify us within 3 days of receipt, we will arrange the exchange or other solution.


1) Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

We cannot refund any local import or duty taxes you may have paid.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

2) Warranty

While the expected lifespan of most of our products extends to tens of thousands of hours - equivalent to several tens of years of normal service - we limit our warranty period to two years from the day of customer delivery. If any of our products should fail during normal service within this period, we will normally - after inspection by us - look to replace the defective item without charge.

3) Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

4) Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

5) Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

6) Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@ledingthelife.co.uk and send your item to: LEDingTheLifeUK 2 Coed Gurnos, Gowerton, SWANSEA SA4 3ES


7) Custom Made items (if applicable)

We will, occasionally and at our discretion, agree to supply specially modified Custom Made items for our clients. Custom Made items are excluded from the standard Refund, Returns and Warranty terms detailed here. Orders for Custom Made items can not be cancelled once manufacturing has commenced without written agreement.

8) Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

9) Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

10) Taxes

As stated in our shipping policy - customers are responsible for any and all local and national taxes which may be levied by appropriate authorities. These costs are non refundable by us and are excluded from consideration in any and all calculations when refunds or replacements are agreed by us.

11) Cancellation

Once your order is placed you'll receive immediate, and detailed, confirmation by email. Some time later you'll receive an estimated shipping date and/or tracking information. Up until your order leaves our factory, or other premises, and tracking information is available you ran request and receive a full refund of the amount you have already paid. Once tracking information has been sent and your shipment is on its way, then charges will apply, the amount returned to you may be significantly reduced and you will still be liable for any tax or duty that is levied on the shipment.
